Back to school - hard to believe - summer is over for another year. Grade 7 this year for Ethan....where have the past 11 years gone??

Biking Accident

This past weekend Ethan had himself a slight biking accident - he is now one sore, cut and bruised kid! His leg got the worst although he is scraped and bruised from neck to ankle on his entire left side. Not sure when he may decide he doesn't hate bikes anymore! LOL Poor guy - he is hurting for sure.........

Happy CANADA DAY!

Ethan was the only one patriotic in this household today for Canada Day! He has been at camp all week and today was Fun Day with all kinds of games including these nifty Canada flag tatoos they all were adorned with.

Yurtle the Turtle

We had a surprise as we pulled into the driveway tonight - a turtle was lounging there! We nearly hit it - guess we just really aren't used to turtles being so close to homes - especially in town - although there seems to be a lot more sightings this year - maybe the rain? Whatever the cause - it is a good thing!

Lilacs

I LOVE this time of year for the lilacs - smells so nice outside as well as in. I have tons of photos but I still like to take a few each year. Can't you almost smell them??!!
